The HR Coordinator role will serve as a direct business support for the Human Resources team and assist with administrative tasks for employees and managers within the business. The incumbent will perform a wide range of administrative HR tasks and projects including but not limited to reporting, projects as assigned, maintaining employee records, exit processing and assisting other departments as needed.

The incumbent will perform a wide range of administrative HR tasks and projects including but not limited to reporting, projects as assigned, maintaining employee records, exit processing and assisting other departments as needed. 

  • Serve as administrative support for the HR team
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for employee related administrative questions or issues, working towards a resolution in concert with the appropriate HR partner
  • Assists the HR team with implementation and administration of HR programs related to HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Training and Performance Management
  • Work in partnership with the HR team for issues related to all benefits plans, leave management (e.g. FMLA), policies, general payroll, and other HR policies and programs. Escalate to HR Director, as needed
  • Manage employee documentation and record keeping by processing Status Change Forms, promotion and role change letters, termination letters and other administrative tasks in coordination with HR teams as necessary
  • Provide information and cooperation required for the administration, compliance and security of accurate, timely and complete employee records. Ensure employee record changes are communicated to the HRIS team to ensure the implementation and timely maintenance of the HRIS and HR-related databases
  • Assist with management of Namely (HRIS) including, but not limited to, new hire set up, management reporting, manager changes and compliance
  • Assist with policy and process documentation and implementation
  • Act as a role model and a champion of NTT Research's High-Performance Culture
  • Assist with other HR projects as needed

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of HR experience required
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of general business concepts
  • Basic HR knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in California
  • Ability to work independently  and to exercise appropriate discretion when working with confidential and sensitive matters and information is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong collaboration and team working ability
  • Microsoft Office skills
