The Compliance Manager of Finance and Accounting will be an integral part of the finance team providing support to the Controller in all accounting and finance compliance responsibilities. The Compliance Manager of Finance and Accounting will be an integral part of the finance team providing support to the Controller in all accounting and finance compliance responsibilities. Candidates should be highly motivated, have strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist Controller in establishing and maintaining internal controls.
  • Manage and coordinate team tasks for quarterly and annual audits and annual tax returns, including supporting parent company consolidated tax return information requests.
  • Manage and prepare other government reporting and filings
  • Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP.
  • Ensure compliance with and prepare reports according to applicable government regulations.
  • Assist Controller with process improvements and implementation.
  • Complete and manage special projects that require experience with:
    • Preparing and/or review accounting entries and account reconciliations.
    • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year end analysis of financial results.
    • Preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
    • Audit for responding to internal and external audit requests.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in a corporate finance and compliance/audit role
  • Advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Solid understanding, interpretation and application of U.S. GAAP accounting standards
  • CPA preferred
  • Internal audit experience preferred
  • Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy with an aptitude for troubleshooting data discrepancies
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management
  • Ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
  • Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with corporate and partnership tax return review preferred
  • Demonstrated history of resourcefulness and problem solving, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Strong project management experience
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
