  • Innovation & R&D: Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Edge Computing, Web3) to determine their viability and ROI for the business.
  • Vendor & Ecosystem Management: Lead high-level partnerships with major providers (AWS, Microsoft, Snowflake, etc.) and oversee build-vs-buy decisions for enterprise-scale tools.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary technical advisor to the C-suite (CTO, CEO, CFO) on the feasibility and cost of major business initiatives.

Core Responsibilities (Operational Focus)
· Team Management: Lead, mentor, and provide performance management for a team of senior and junior developers.
· Portfolio Oversight: Manage a pipeline of projects, ensuring they remain on schedule, within budget, and meet high quality standards.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for high-level stakeholders, including executives, partners, and external consultants.
· Risk Mitigation: Identify potential technical or operational risks early and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on track.

  • Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in a Principal or Enterprise Architect role overseeing multiple large-scale systems.
  • Systems Thinking: Mastery of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native design at a global scale.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage technical budgets, optimize cloud consumption costs (FinOps), and calculate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Communication: Elite ability to simplify deep technical risks into business-risk language for board members and investors.
