The Medical and Health Informatics (MEI) Lab is dedicated to advancing the medical and health sciences by empowering application of a more Personalized, Preventive, Predictive, and Participatory (i.e., “P4”) practice of medicine (and wellness). We aim to individualize and revolutionize healthcare through application of Bio Digital Twin technologies to achieve Precision Medicine. The primary role for this position will be to facilitate development of a cardiovascular BioDT. A BioDT is a digital representation of all that can be known or inferred about an individual’s physiology, pathophysiology, multi-omics, lifestyle, behaviors, and risk factors. The BioDT will be driven by computational platforms of modeling and simulation engines that can assemble and make sense of all these various data types.
