Job Summary
Perform state-of-the-art cryptographic research during an internship with NTT Research Cryptography & Information Security (CIS) Lab.

Position Details

Interns will be matched with one of our research scientists as a mentor. During the course of the internship, they will have the opportunity to collaborate with their mentor, other researchers, and other interns on scientific research, and present their results to the greater academic community.

Typical internships are for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

Working with mentors to develop an internship project
Conducting fundamental research in cryptography, security, or related fields
Writing up an academic paper to summarize research results
Interns are expected to relocate to the Sunnyvale area and have regular presence at the office for the internship period

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should have demonstrated strong mathematical ability and be enrolled in a PhD program with a focus on cryptography, computer security, or theoretical computer science.
