The Accounting Analyst has full charge responsibility for fixed assets accounting and business system support of Sage Intacct, Concur and related business software; analyzes financial results and prepares monthly financial reporting package; and assists with budgeting and forecasting.

The accounting analyst has full charge responsibility for fixed assets accounting and business system support Sage Intacct, Concur and related business software; analyzes financial results and prepares monthly financial reporting package; and assists with budgeting and forecasting. 


Fixed Assets Accounting
  • Responsible for full cycle fixed assets recording, tracking, reporting, and physical validation.
  • Reviews transactions that qualify for capitalization and creates detailed fixed assets records and depreciation schedules.
  • Prepares accounting journal entries, as needed.
  • Prepares monthly reconciliations and roll forward schedules.
  • Maintains accuracy of fixed assets registers for tax and audit.

Business System Support and Administration
  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of user account maintenance, system configuration updates, system integrations, and creation and modification of queries and reports.
  • Creates and maintains documentation of all system changes.
  • Opens and manages support tickets with all software vendors.
  • Assists with preparing and maintaining procedural documents.
  • Assists with implementing new configuration and deployment, including requirements gathering, testing, preparing training materials and post-implementation user support.
  • Assists with development of new queries and reports.

Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting
  • Analyzes monthly financial results and prepares management reporting package.
  • Assists with semi-annual budget preparation and submission to headquarters.
  • Supports requests for budget information.

This position provides opportunities for accountants to become a super user of accounting system and use their solid knowledge of accounting to support management reporting, budgeting and analysis for a subsidiary of a Fortune Global 500 company (ranked 55).   • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
  • 5+ years in a corporate accounting or finance role
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Solid understanding and application of U.S. GAAP accounting standards
  • Solid knowledge of ERP and business support systems
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and Concur preferred
  • Experience with fixed assets accounting preferred
  • Experience in technology a plus
