You will join our self-directed research scientists to work on fundamental scientific problems. You and your mentors will explore the frontier of physics and informatics. - Working with mentors to uncover and address key issues - Conducting fundamental research in quantum, optical, and neural networks - Performing experiments to build new optical devices - Writing up an academic paper to summarize research results Examples of some potential projects:
Developing new theory or algorithms of quantum, optical, and neural systems
Building cutting-edge optical devices and systems
Writing codes that control our quantum computer (Coherent Ising Machine)
Benchmarking against other quantum machines and modern heuristics
Graduate and undergraduate student in Physics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, and related technical field.
